Just wanted to let you know about 4 things coming up related to True Vine:
1. We will be having the first Women's social for those in process, have adopted and those interested in adoption on Tuesday, May 18th @7pm. We will be having a meet and greet, to get to know each other better @ Barnes and Noble at Glenbrook. Amy Dini will be scheduling and planning these, so to RSVP, email dinifam@msn.com
2. May 21@ 7PM Stephanie Fast event (former orphan). Register at http://fort4thefatherless.org
3. The Heart Gallery will be in the atrium May 29/30 and June 5/6. This will have pictures and description of children that are foster to adopt. Whites will be on hand to answer questions related to foster and foster to adopt.
4. Sunday, June 6 @1 pm, we will have a True Vine Picnic at Buckner Park. Bring a blanket and your own picnic lunch and have fun with other adoptive families. The park is at 6411 BassRoad. It has restrooms, a splash pad (so bring a change of clothes or swimsuits for your kids), and two new playgrounds (one for ages 2-5 and one for ages 5-12).
We exist to impact future generations by reaching out to orphaned children and loving them as God has loved us.
